Hi, I’m Erin, your menstrual interpreter. I help people understand the menstrual cycle and how it influences far more than just reproduction.
My passion for this work comes from a personal experience of losing my period during a time of intense training. Soon after I lost my period my anxiety increased, I developed gut issues, and had persistent injuries that ended up sidelining me.
When I became certified as a hormone health specialist and learned about the cycle's systemic interactions, it ALL made sense! I’ve since used that knowledge to navigate my own health, from tracking my recovery through a chronic gut infection to monitoring my nutritional status while leading long expeditions. Now, I love seeing that same “ah-ha” moment when there is clear explanation for what someone has been experiencing or witnessing.
With a background in menstrual science and experience navigating learning differences, I understand how challenging it can be to fully grasp these systemic interactions. I designed my courses and my practice to be clear, approachable, and easy to understand. I believe menstrual education isn’t just for menstruators; it’s valuable for everyone. Understanding the influences of the menstrual cycle gives context to ourselves and the people we know that menstruate. Thanks for being here!
